Wendelsberg is looking for two teachers

This is quite unusual. Wendelsberg Folk High School is located in Mölnlycke in the lush Wendels Park, and the activities are largely conducted in buildings from the 19th century. Approximately 220 adult participants study at the school, primarily in our theater programs or the general line with instruction at the high school level. About a hundred of the participants live in the school's boarding facilities.

Wendelsberg is one of Movendi Sweden's (formerly IOGT-NTO) two folk high schools, and the operations are greatly influenced by the fundamental values of the organization. We are an alcohol-free school, and every day we uphold democracy and everyone's equal right to develop and live a good life.

For the academic year 26/27, we are looking for two teachers for our general line. Both need to be able to teach Swedish and preferably English. If you can also teach mathematics and other languages, it is a merit. As a teacher at a folk high school, the distribution of subjects may vary over time, and therefore your motivations and personal qualities are particularly important.

In the folk high school world, we try to make the most of all talents and success factors for the benefit of the participants. Above all, you must enjoy being with people. Good pedagogy and teaching are important, but so much more is needed for people to succeed in their studies and life in general. We fully embrace this in our operations.
